DIGITAL IMAGE LICENSE AGREEMENT
Yessica de Reus Fotografie

This Digital Image License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of digital images delivered by Yessica de Reus Fotografie ("Photographer") to the Client ("Client"). By receiving and using the images, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.

 
1. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP
All images remain the intellectual property of the Photographer. Copyright is not transferred under any circumstances.

 
2. LICENSE GRANT
The Client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased images.

This license applies only to the Client and covers:

- Personal use
- Social media use
- Self-promotion as a rider or horse owner

This includes (but is not limited to):
- Rider profiles
- Show banners
- Stable displays
- Personal branding
 
3. THIRD-PARTY USE
The Client may not grant usage rights to third parties.

This includes:
- Trainers
- Stables
- Coaches
- Event organizations
- Brands or sponsors
Any third party wishing to use the images must obtain permission and a license directly from the Photographer.

 
4. COMMERCIAL & SPONSOR USE
Any use connected to a business, brand, or income-generating activity is considered commercial use.

Examples include:

- Sponsor promotions
- Brand advertisements
- Product marketing
- Business websites or campaigns

These uses require a separate commercial license and may involve additional fees.

 
5. EVENT & ORGANIZATION USE
Competition organizers, associations, and event hosts may not use images without prior written consent from the Photographer.
Even if the Client appears in the image, usage by organizations is considered third-party use.

 
6. IMAGE USE & EDITING

The Client may:
Crop images slightly for formatting (e.g. social media)

The Client may not:

- Apply heavy filters or presets
- Alter colors or lighting significantly
- Use AI tools to modify the image
- Edit the horse or rider in a way that changes appearance, conformation, or movement
- The integrity and artistic style of the Photographer must be preserved.

 
7. WATERMARK & PRESENTATION
If images are delivered with a watermark, it may not be removed or cropped out.

 
8. CREDIT
Credit to the Photographer is expected whenever reasonably possible.
Preferred credit:
Yessica de Reus Fotografie

For social media, tagging is highly appreciated and encouraged.

 
9. PURCHASE & USAGE LIMITATION
The license applies only to images that have been purchased or delivered.
Images not purchased may not be downloaded, shared, or used in any way.

 
10. LIABILITY
The Photographer is not responsible for misuse of the images by the Client or third parties.

 
11. TERMINATION
If the Client violates this Agreement, the license may be revoked. All use of the images must then immediately stop and a fine may be applicable.

 
12. APPLICABLE LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
